Who will be your first starter?

Who will be your first starter? Will it be fennekin ? Chespin? Or will it be Froakie? And why ?

I've never not gone with the water starter so this one's easy for me.

I've always picked the fire starter, apart from Black 2 but that's a special case, but Chespin is so cute.

There is that rumoured theory that the evolutions will be Fire/Psychic, Water/Dark and Grass/Fighting and that has affected my decision.

I love me some fighting types.

On the other hand, I'm so sick of fire/fighting that I'd want to pick Fennekin even less as a result.

I think they've done fire/fighting to death.

I will choose fennekin. I play with fire all the way

I usually pick the fire type, but if Chespin happens to be a grass/ground, I may switch it up this time around.

I will for sure pick Fennekin - always pick the fire types to start off with (except in Black/White cause of that darn fire/fighting combo). And if Fennekin happens to be Fire/Psychic I think that would be an awesome combination - they dont't have enough good psychic types in the game, and hopefully the next evolutions of Fennekin (and the others!) look awesome.

I'm going to have them all, for sure, but I'm definitely going to start with chespin. I can totally see it becoming a Grass/Steel type, which I would definitely love, though Grass/Dark or Grass/Ground would be amazing. If any of them become part fighting, I'm kind of hoping it's froakie, though.

I'm stuck between Fennekin and Chespin. Usually I go with fire starters, but occasionally I choose grass (never water). I guess I'll pick on a whim when it actually comes out!

Foxes are some of my favorite animals. There's really no other choice than Fennikin for me. I've been pretty spread out as far as my favorite starters go, though. Between Charmander, Totodile, and Turtwig I already have all the types covered pretty decently.

I'm also big on fire-types, and, like a few others here, black 2 was the ONLY thing that broke that chain (went for oshawott instead, not that I even used my dang starter, I just caught a riolu early on and used THAT as my main pokemon, lol) so Fennekin so far....BUT, depends on the stats too. I like to go for a potent mix of power/aesthetically pleasing/favorite type.

But if it's fire/psychic omg I will probably cave instantly unless fennekin is REALLY bad. Two favorite types right there.

I'm really interested to see who my sister chooses. I mean, she always goes for the grass starter, but fox pokemon are her favorite (she adores vulpix to death). So I imagine she'll have a tough time choosing.
