Favourite field features?

Personally, I love the pokegear and every game I wish they'd bring it back. Having your map in a special menu like that was really cool. The poketch was also really good, very useful for breeding.

In a more old school vein, I really miss the item pc. With so many items available, many of them holdable, it's really awkward to have to carry all of them around with you or attach them to pokemon for storage.

The item pc should come back so that you can store all of the items you want to keep, but don't need to carry with you at the moment.

Those are just a couple of my favourites features.

poketch for breeding, doodling, and tracking legendaries on the loose

item pc would be nice, though at least you have unlimited backpack space now.
(i've been playing a pokemon yellow nuzlocke all day, the backpack is the bane of my existence)

i want more minigames and i don't care how cruddy
(as long as they're optional shmuck like competitions/pokeathalon/w/e)

Same! I did like the poketch and the pokegear. It was so exciting when you first got it and Mom is like, do you know how to use it? And your like Yes Mom shut up of course I do, but she tells you anyway in one of those reverse-questions "Dont you just click the name you want to call". YES YOU DO MOM.

What I really liked was the style of the Gen 3 contests. They were great. I never really got into the contests in the next generations. And one think I dont like is that theyre trying to make all of these different things to do, like for example, movies. No, my Pokemon does not need to be in a movie. It just seems really pointless and is actually pretty boring. Anyone disagree though?

I caught a shiny once. It was a wurmple and it evolved into a Beautifly.

I killed one once way back in Gold and Silver. After I beat it, I saw a regular colored version of the same Pokemon and, since it looked different, I freaked out and caught it. Then I found out that that was the normal color and that I had killed the shiny

That's rough, man. I killed a shiny Numel once. I didn't have enough pokeballs to catch it

My first shiny that I caught was a shiny useless watchhog

My first shiny was a seedot back in ruby, while I was searching for a timid ralts in the grass.

My second shiny was a litwick I caught while searching for a timid litwick, black 2.

My litwick has flame body so I carry it around when hatching eggs. C:

But yes, I'm with everyone on the poketch (great for hatching eggs and other small but useful stuff) and pokegear, also the item PC (I have so many items I don't use but DON'T WANT TO THROW AWAY EITHER)

I flipping LOVED the contests from gen 3, miss apricorns, and also (as pointless as they were, but still fun) the secret bases from gen 3. I always got the piano steps and ran around on them, haha.

Also game corner and cycling road. I loved trying to beat my records on that road. Just...I miss being able to switch bikes in general. and all the extra bike features, hopping and whatnot, someone needs to bring that baaaaaaaack.

Was really disappointed with gen 5's features. The musicals and the movies? Just....meeeh. Tried them both, I'm just not feeling it.
